Cameron Currah, President

Cameron Currah started out in the concrete industry in 1974. After graduating from the University of Alberta in 1981 with both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce, he went on to work for a large construction contractor. After three years of furthering his industry experience in this position, Cameron decided to make his dream a reality, and thus founded Noremac Industries in 1984. Over the past quarter century Cameron has been dedicated to building the Noremac Group. With much dedication, and a strong desire for success and constant improvement, Cameron continues to strive for excellence at the Noremac group each and everyday.


Marcel Jitter, Managing Partner – British Columbia

Marcel Jittler has been in the construction industry forming and framing since 1988. After moving to the Fraser Valley, Marcel worked in the ready mix Industry for seven years. Marcel began operating concrete pumps in 1996 and quickly became very experienced and well known in the industry. Marcel joined the Noremac team as an operator in 1998, and became the Operations Manager in Edmonton in 1999. Marcel played a primary role in Noremac’s expansion into British Columbia (as Norewest Pumping Inc.), becoming Vice President of Norewest in 2000. Since then Marcel has continued to play an integral role the growth and development of the company all across British Columbia. Marcel currently sits on the board of the Kamloops homebuilders association.


Scott Bertolozzi, Managing Partner

Scott Bertolozzi started his career with Noremac as a pump operator in September of 2002. He has operated every pump from a 28M to a 55M boom pump. Scott acted as our operations Manager at the Edmonton Location from 2004 to 2006. Since then Scott has been on our Business Development Team in Edmonton until becoming our special projects manager in 2009.


Al Labatch, Senior Operations Manager- Edmonton

Al Labatch started out in the concrete construction industry in 1974, and began operating pump trucks in 1984. Al brings with him 31 years of experience and a wealth of placing, finishing and operational knowledge. After retiring from his own successful pump, placing and finishing company, he joined the Noresask team in June of 2003. In September of 2006 Al transferred to the Edmonton branch to take on the role of Senior Operations Manager.


Wayne Esakin, Managing Partner

Wayne Esakin began pumping concrete in 1975 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for Western Concrete Finishers. Wayne developed his operational experience and mechanical knowledge of concrete pumps over the following twenty-one years, and joined the Noremac team in 1995, playing a central role in the extension of Noremac into Saskatchewan. Wayne’s efforts have been focused on increasing the truck fleet in Saskatchewan from one pump to seven since Noresask’s inception in 1996. In 2005 Wayne became the Vice President of Noresask Pumping Inc, and continues to advance Noresask in conjunction with running a successful farming operation north of Saskatoon.


Timothy Troy, Controller

Timothy Troy joined the Normac Group of companies in 2010 as corporate controller. He brings to his new position nearly 12 years of leadership experience in several areas, including: operations, human resources and strategic management, corporate finance and accounting. As an Ontario native, Timothy attended the prestigious Schulich School of Business at York University, where he graduated with a Specialized Honours BA in accounting, econometrics and corporate finance. He currently holds associate and professional memberships with the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta, the Canadian Payroll Association, the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada and the Human Resources Professionals Association. Timothy is also an active member of both the Edmonton and St. Albert communities and currently holds a board of directors position for a local non-profit organization.



Connor Currah, Business Development

Connor Currah began his employment at Noremac in the summer of 2004. Connor is presently at Grant MacEwan taking business and working part time in our Business Development department.



Jackie Schwanke, Dispatch / Accounts Receivables

Jackie has joined our team with an extensive background in accounting, she completed her training at NAIT prior to working for over seven years with a highly respected Chartered Accountant firm in Edmonton. Jackie is in her fourth year with Noremac and continues to contribute daily to our success.



Michael Mendoza, Accounts Payable

After his 3rd year bachelor Business administration at NAIT Michael joined Noremac Industries in the summer of 2010. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administrator and a CMA designation.


Charlie Bush, Maintenance Manager

Charlie has always been mechanical by nature. He obtained his knowledge through hands on experience in a variety of industries on a wide range of equipment. He widened his range of knowledge through his studies at BCIT as a systems analyst and again at Caribou College where he taught mechanics. His past experience combined with his "Advanced Training" he received at Schwing have made a significant contribution to keep this equipment operating at the levels our customers expect.



Aniko Bryson, Office Manager / Dispatch - BC

Aniko joined the Noremac group in winter of 2008, and since that time has played an integral roll as the Dispatcher & Office Manager with the Kamloops Branch In BC. Her 17 years of business management experience prior to working at Noremac has allowed her to contribute to the overall company goals.

  • Noremac is pleased to announce the continued success on the Edmonoton LRT project. We have been pumping large concrete mud slabs since the middle of October. Thanks to the unusually warm weather this winter, the project is continuing on schedule.  
  • Norewest is excited to start their new project in the Nicola Valley area. The Huldra Silver Ball Mill project will consist of approximatley 5000 cubic metres and will span over the next year and a half.   • Noresask is pleased to announce the successful pour for SaskCon Repair Services. SaskCon utilized our Schwing 55m Concrete Pump on February 1, 2012 at the 33rd street Lift Station in Saskatoon, SK.
